Hotel Computers originated in 1982 and was incorporated
in 1983 because existing Property Management System software for
hotels did not address the needs of hotels from a hotelier's point
of view and no matter how reliable a hotel computer system was,
its success or failure depended on ease of use and vendor support
after the property management system software was installed.
With these principles and a technical staff of hotel professionals,
the design of the INNtime Property Management System software for
hotels commenced. The design of the property management system software
came from knowledge of existing hotel software systems, working
knowledge of hotels, ideas for improving functions and from the
concepts of hospitality industry leaders.
In 1984, we installed our first property management
system software for a hotel and from that 340 room beginning, INNtime
is currently installed in hotels with as few as 18 rooms to hotels
with over 500 rooms. Along the way we have accomplished a number
of industry "firsts":
First vendor to interface to Choice Hotel Systems;
first to interface to Howard Johnson Res Assistant; first vendor
to interface with a wholesaler (Certified Tours); first vendor to
accurately handle wholesaler blocks.
INNtime Property Management System Software for
hotels has achieved success because the system is very, VERY user
friendly and because of the support and enhancements we provide
to our customers. Our growth has been achieved by word-of-mouth
as our sales force has been our customer base.
